More Info:
Some 15-20 years ago, the City of Gaithersburg (inc. 1968) was replete with farmland, orchards, a few housing developments, parks and recreational facilities, and a missile silo. This trail will take you through what's in the back yard of what has now become a bustling city with traffic, commercial sites, and numerous families with small children. You'll see the new and what's left of the old, and maybe get banged by shiggy along the way.
Expect PI and insects aplenty (including those fucking spotted lanternflies –gotta stomp 'em all), so cum prepared for that: bug spray, change of clothes, shiggy socks (or pants?), and Tecnu/wipes to clean up urushiol from yourself highly recommended. IT WILL BE HOTTER THAN GEAR NIGHT AT THE DISTRICT EAGLE (86°F heat index at start), so stay hydrated. Finally, everyone gets a trail, including the Penguins, so all of the above applies to you, too.
