Fuck yeah! The Red Line is operating trains every 12 minutes on the weekend. No track work is planned; however, there are some stations that are still closed. Check wmata.com for details and ensure you follow their COVID-19 protocols.

Eagle – 6 (mostly forest, PI, and water -not tits deep; crainum lamp required)
Turkey – 4 (again, forest and PI, maybe some water; cranium lamp required)
Penguin – 2 (some grassy areas or packed dirt trail, but nothing too major unless the ground is moist from rain, anyone with strollers please ask hares for a workaround).
Dog Friendly:
Eagle – yes, if strong dog
Turkey – yes, if strong dog
Penguin – all doggos welcome

.As mentioned above, cranium lamps are required for eagle and turkey. A change of shoes/socks is suggested for eagle and turkey as well. If it rains, trail may be slippery and muddy, so prepare to be potentially lubed up. PI is very likely on trail, so bring Technu or whatever your preference is to remove the urushiol (hand sanitizer could work). If we’re inspired, the hares may leave some goodies behind for you. Keep socially-distanced or hash with your quaranteam.
