*Trail Length (Approx):*
Penguin – <1 mile
Turkey – ~1.5 miles
Eagle – 3.71 miles (if you guess each check correctly)
*Shiggy Rating:* (1 = None to 10 = Jungle Bushwhacking)
Penguin – 2 – trail is shorter, easier, but your tootsies will get wet (and
more than your tootsies, potentially, depending on the recent rainfall and
the tide). You will also need some source of illumination.
Turkey – 4 – not as short, or as easy. And gosh, you too are likely to get
wet.
Eagle – 7 – trail is survivable; this trail has been run before, but beware
of trying to shortcut. When this trail was run by DCH3, the Horn (who set
the trail) finished in 1 hr., 30 min. The majority of the pack finished
within two hours, and the DFLs (who tried to shortcut) finished 3 hrs., 20
min. after the first FRB.
*Dog Friendly:*
There will be shiggy and manmade obstacles; it will be virtually impossible
for a dog that you care for and that you are not willing to carry for 4
miles.
*Stroller Friendly:*
Absolutely do *not *bring children.
*More Information for Consideration:*
Trail will be using Kuala Lumpur rules and trail markings!
Although it is May the Fourth, costumes are highly discouraged since they
probably will not be wearable again after trail.
