#33 - Double Fister: Camo’s Revenge
H4 Prelube #33: You'll want to be (pre)lubed for trail 33.
Saturday 7:00PM - August 23rd, 2014
We will be playing mini-golf! It's time to show your mad skillz on the green at Great Waves Water Park. We will meet at 7PM. They also have batting cages. Also, feel free to enjoy the water park area during the day! I don't think they sell booze at the park, so make sure you bring your own...um...water. Yeah it's just water, I swear! We will head out to a bar after minigolf (location TBD).

H4 Trail #33: Double Fister: Camo’s Revenge (and we dragged Nub along too)
Sunday 10:00AM - August 24th, 2014
It's Hangover's 33rd trail! That means it's gonna be pretty rough and you will be walking funny for the next few days. (And you will likely be filled with regret once you're too deep to turn back.)
Important Info - THIS IS YOUR WARNING! It is up front so you don't miss it.
Turkeys & Eagles have a 1/4 mile open water swim. (We will have a canoe at the cross point. It is there for safety, not to transport your ass across the river. Again, CANOE IS THERE FOR SAFETY, NOT TO TRANSPORT YOUR ASS ACROSS THE RIVER!) Bring your finest water wings. For turkeys & eagles who do not swim well/cannot swim, there will be a work-around. Work-around still in the works, so stay tuned!
This is a ball-buster for everyone; Eagle is a half marathon, Turkey is 8 miles, Penguin is 6 miles long.
Fister designed the trail so someone might get seriously injured.
Camo is haring so someone might get seriously injured.
Imagine all the hazards of a normal trail times a half marathon, plus a long swim. There is also an optional Super-Stupid Eagle that involves technical scrambling along a cliff face.
A camelbak is highly recommend if you have one. We will have water at every beer and shot check, but you will be hashing a long fucking trail in August. Also, camelbacks have the added bonus of being buoyant! (did we mention the swim?)
There is PI on trail (not on-purpose, but you're bound to run into it), as well as various forms of insect life.
And now for the fun stuff, on trail there will be:
- Beer
- Rope Swing
- Beer
- Awesome Scenery
- Shot Quest!
- Challenge
- Whiskey
- Danger
- Food
- Beer
In the end, you will be able to say you hashed through some lunatic shiggy in the jurisdictions of DC, Maryland, and Virginia all on one tough ball-buster of a trail.

Dog Friendly/Stroller Friendly:
Trail involves a 1/4 mile swim, Eagle is a half marathon, and Super-Stupid Eagle involves rock scrambling. Your dog is not 1970's animated dog super-hero, Dynomutt, does not wear a cape, and does not have rockets in it’s paws. This trail is an opportunity to prove how tough/stupid you are. Don’t do that to your pup. They aren’t welcome at the On-In either.
Return to start/metro:
The creepy van will provide rides back to start and the metro after end circle and again after brunch
